In the afternoon of Oct.3 2008 Shi Touhe police station received a “110” report that a baby was found under the cross overpass between Xie Guguan Section of Qimei Road and Jiangmei Road. The policemen Zhang Jianying and Li Jinlao did a lot of search but failed to find the abandoned baby’s relatives, and she was sent to be raised in Jiangzhang Social Welfare Institute of Baoji City by Shi Touhe police station of Mei County.
On admission the baby was about one day old. After comprehensive physical exam she was considered to have congenital cleft lip and palate, other physical growth was in accordance with the growth of normal kids.

We are overjoyed and can't wait to meet her. Since we are completely starting over with our paperwork, it will be awhile before we travel. We are hoping to go this summer that way Bria will be able to go with us.
The Obucina Family is extremely excited to be part of this journey. We shall follow along with much love and faith, proudly welcoming our newest family member.
